Volunteers Needed

This is a “Call for Volunteers” who’re willing and able to commit their services toward ensuring a smooth-running show on the day of the event.  The show itself will start at 3 pm, but we’ll begin setting up for the show at 12:00pm.  Thus, we’re seeking volunteers to help with event setup, staff various positions during the show, in addition to help with breaking down and cleaning up after the show.

Open Volunteer Positions include (please call for shift slots and specific details):

  • Product/CD Sales Support Staff (6); 2 people each for three 3.5-hour shifts, starting at 1:30pm, MUST be able to control inventory and handle cash/make change accurately

  • Food Service Assistance (6); 2 people each for three 3-hour shifts, starting at 12:00pm - Ushers (6); 6 people for one 3-hour shift, starting at 2:00pm

  • Stage/Sound Set Up Personnel (4); 3-hour shift, starting promptly at 12:00pm, MUST be experienced and able to take instructions from sound/stage manager

  • Stage Hands for Set Changes During Show (6); Floating in 15-minute set increments to change sets within 5 minutes each, beginning at 3pm to 5:30pm, then 7pm to 10:30pm; MUST be experienced and able to hustle

  • Stage/Sound Break Down Post-Show (4); As long as it takes to break down the equipment (approximately 1 hour beginning at the end of the show around 10pm); MUST be experienced and able to take instructions from sound/stage manager

  • Ticketing/Admissions Attendant (2); Likely a two-hour shift, starting at 1:30pm.

  • “Emergency/On-call” Runners (2);  “On-call” helpers who could be available to handle minor “unanticipated emergencies” should the need for such arise; should have transportation vehicle and be familiar with the surrounding area

 

Benefits: 

  • If you haven't already bought a ticket to the show, there may be some limited seating on the sides and in the back for volunteers to sit and watch the show.

  • You will be invited to attend the post-concert VIP reception with the performers.
